Over the years, several prominent athletes have posed for the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, from Danica Patrick to Alex Morgan to Ronda Rousey.
Former women’s tennis star Anna Kournikova is among those who have posed for the issue. Kournikova, one of the biggest female tennis players of all-time in terms of celebrity, posed for the iconic magazine issue back in 2004.
Kournikova was near the peak of her fame while she posed in 2004.

Kournikova, a Russia native, never reached the pinnacle of women’s tennis. However, she did have some impressive runs in the Grand Slam events. Kournikova made it to the semifinals of Wimbledon in 1997 and the quarterfinals of the Australian Open in 2001. At the U.S. Open, she never advanced past the fourth round.
