Bubba Wallace came extremely close to winning the Daytona 500 on Sunday evening.
Sunday night, the 23XI Racing driver finished in second place in the Daytona 500. He came within feet of beating out Austin Cindric for the win.
Unfortunately, Wallace had to settle for second place.

Wallace was understandably emotional following the close finish. Later on Sunday night, he took to Twitter to express his thoughts.
The process of chasing dreams is experiencing the heart breaks. Solid effort by the @23XIRacing team. Stings, but we’ll take this momentum into the season. pic.twitter.com/3i3pbGdN9v

A second place finish is disappointing, but it’s still a pretty great start to the season for Wallace and the 23XI Racing team.
Wallace and the rest of the NASCAR world will now head to California for the Auto Club 400.
