A NASCAR owner is reportedly willing to send one million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine as the country deals with a military occupation from Russia.
In an appearance on FOX News, Richard Childress told the media he and Ammo Inc agreed to send one million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine. Childress said he made the move after he heard Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy needed ammunition to fight back.
Of course, there were some specific details he needed to work through first. Asked how he’ll get the ammunition there, Childress said he’s already working on that with members of congress.
“Richard Childress answered my question about logistics to get the ammo over to Ukraine,” NASCAR reporter Claire Lang said. “He’s been working with members of congress and those who can help him get it to the right place. It has to get into the right hands Childress said.”

Childress clearly believes in people being able to protect themselves. Now he’s making it his mission to help the Ukrainian people fight back against the Russian military’s invasion.
