For the first time in a long time, the New Orleans Pelicans released an encouraging update on Zion Williamson.
Recent imaging for Williamson showed improved bone healing of the fifth metatarsal in his right foot. He will gradually progress to full weight-bearing exercise and basketball activities.
Williamson remains out indefinitely, but the fact that his bone is healing correctly is great news.

Williamson has not played in a single game for the Pelicans this season due to his foot injury.
Since there hasn’t been much noise surrounding Williamson’s return, speculation about whether or not he wants to remain in New Orleans has been running wild.
If Williamson returns to the Pelicans’ lineup at some point this season, that would really silence all the rumors.
